Our Dallas office is seeking a Theatre Consultant who understands the world of theatre and how to manage projects well.
You will work with our collaborative team of theatre consultants and architectural lighting designers. You will organize and coordinate efforts in support of multiple, simultaneous projects in various stages of development. You will assist in developing design concepts for theatre planning and equipment systems. You will assist in preparing preliminary theatre plan and section drawings and sightline studies. Your technical theatre background will inform your work, and your client interaction experience will serve you well. You will have the opportunity for some travel for meetings, presentations and site visits. Job location is Dallas where we have just renovated a beautiful office space; currently we are working remotely.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a theatre consultant or similar position is required. You must have previous client engagement experience. You must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to meet client deadlines. Strong communication and organizational skills, personal initiative, and an understanding of technical theatre are required. You must have a working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. This is a full-time position with benefits, 401k, paid vacation, public transit vouchers, and the chance to work in a collaborative, team environment.
Salary commensurate with experience and abilities. Includes opportunities for bonuses.
