PROMOTIONS
Kevin Greene
Senior Theatre Consultant
Kevin Greene has been promoted to Senior Theatre Consultant in recognition of his expertise and contributions to theatre planning. Drawing on decades of professional theatre experience across a wide range of roles, Kevin brings a deep understanding of the technical and artistic demands of live performance to his work. His breadth of knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to seamless, effective design continue to support successful projects and exceptional performance environments.
Some of Kevin’s notable projects include Terrace Theater at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, DC; Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, Beverly Hills, CA; and various projects with the Chicago Park District.
Jackson Lasseter
Theatre Consultant
Promoted to Theatre Consultant in Schuler Shook’s Chicago office, Jackson Lasseter is passionate about designing performance spaces that bring people together and support creativity from every perspective. He brings a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges and creating venues that serve the needs of artists, audiences, and the many people who make performance possible. Jackson’s creativity, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for collaboration help bring thoughtful, effective solutions to each project.
Notable projects of Jackson’s include The Salt Shed, Chicago, IL; National Air and Space Museum, Powered Aerial Access, Washington, DC; and University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Kimball Recital Hall, Lincoln Nebraska.
Henry Starr
Marketing & Communications Strategist
In his position as Marketing & Communications Strategist, Henry Starr continues to build upon his multidisciplinary background in theatre, copywriting, and graphic design. He excels at translating ideas and technical information into clear, engaging stories and communications that connect with a range of audiences. Henry’s creativity, strategic thinking, and collaborative approach help strengthen Schuler Shook’s voice and tell the stories of the people, projects, and expertise behind the firm.
NEW TEAM MEMBERS
Walesca Zanonato
Senior Lighting Designer
Walesca Zanonato joins Schuler Shook’s Melbourne studio as Senior Lighting Designer. Originally from Brazil, her path to lighting design has taken her across architecture, hospitality, engineering, and international travel. These varied experiences inform her collaborative approach to creating lighting solutions that enhance architecture while responding to the needs of clients, communities, and the natural environment. Walesca is particularly passionate about sustainable, wildlife-friendly lighting and reducing the environmental impact of artificial light at night.
Jessica Edwards
Theatre Specialist
Jessica Edwards joins Schuler Shook as a Theatre Specialist in the Chicago office. With more than fifteen years of experience in stage and event management, Jessica draws on a deep understanding of both artistic development and production practicalities in her project work. She brings valuable insight into how people move through and utilize performance spaces, having worked in venues ranging from Broadway houses and regional theatres to convention centres. Passionate about health and safety in the arts, Jessica is committed to creating environments where artists and production teams can feel safe, supported, and ready to do their best work.
Ilia Kemble
Theatre Specialist
As Theatre Specialist, Ilia Kemble brings a versatile background in entertainment design, with experience spanning lighting, set, and costume design. Her work as a performer, technician, programmer, and designer has given her a well-rounded perspective on the creative and technical needs of live performance. A creative problem-solver with experience across a range of show formats, Ilia has a collaborative approach to designing performance spaces that support artists, elevate the creative process, and inspire the communities they serve.
Zoe Zylstra
Lighting Specialist
Welcome to Zoe Zylstra, who joins our Chicago office as a Lighting Specialist. With a background in building systems and electrical engineering, Zoe brings enthusiasm for both the artistic and technical sides of lighting design. Inspired by concerts and theatrical performances she has experienced around the United States, she is interested in how light can shape spaces and enhance the way people experience architecture. Zoe’s innovative and holistic perspective combines creative curiosity with technical problem-solving and a collaborative approach to design.
