Volunteers from the Chicago office of Schuler Shook spent part of a recent warm, sunny day to help spruce up the Cummings Playlot near Lincoln Park Zoo.
The playground is part of the Chicago Park District and gets lots of use from children in the area, including those coming from summer camps.
Our volunteers grabbed wheelbarrows, rakes and pitchforks to add fibar (wood chips) to the play areas. We shoveled sand back into the sand lots. The playlot looks great, thanks to our amazing volunteers!
