Ben Schultz

Theatre Specialist

Ben is a dedicated advocate for the arts and their ability to bring diverse communities together. His technical theatre experience encompasses over 10 years in storefront theatre, outdoor theatre festivals, and regional theatre including the vibrant theatre scene of Minneapolis/St. Paul, the cultural backdrop of South Dakota, and the creative hub of Nashville. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Ben strives to help communities and arts organizations plan theatres that will support new perspectives and fresh approaches. His goal is to see safe, sustainable, and inclusive artistic gathering spaces for all.

Active in the larger arts community, Ben has served as a board member of the non-profit Young Artists Initiative in St. Paul, MN. His technical expertise has been recognized at events such as the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and Southeastern Theatre Conference.
