The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) recognized outstanding lighting design of Chicago Riverwalk and Wintrust Financial Corporation with Awards of Merit for each this year. The distinct projects – an urban landscape and an historic interior renovation – were among 22 international entries on display at the 34th annual awards ceremony.

Schuler Shook’s lighting design for this new urban space met the goal of creating welcoming and interactive lighting with a minimum of fixture types and the capacity to function in a flood zone.
