We are thrilled to announce new Schuler Shook team members. Each brings their own unique perspective of their fields and a passion for enhancing our industry and making a positive impact.
New Team Members
Tomas Gerasimidis
Technical Systems Designer
Joining the Melbourne office as Technical Systems Designer, Tomas is pairing his training in civil/structural engineering with his passion for working in the theatre. His interdisciplinary background has equipped him with a broad skillset for his projects at Schuler Shook as well as in his work as an independent theatrical lighting designer.
Tomas enjoys watching theatre, gardening, playing squash, and spending time with friends and family.
Aleksandra Kebel
Studio Manager
Aleksandra brings a rich background in architecture, publishing and entrepreneurship to her role at Schuler Shook. She holds a master’s degree in architecture and previously led her own practice, enriching her skills as a leader and creative. Aleksandra’s keen eye and collaborative spirit are an asset to our team and to the seamless day-to-day functioning of the Melbourne office.
Outside of the office, Aleksandra finds joy in long drives, exploring Australia’s natural landscapes, and cooking with her family.
Michelle Qian
Lighting Specialist
Joining the Minneapolis office, Michelle’s cross-disciplinary background and belief in the transformative power of spatial experiences inform her work as a designer. She began her career in interior design, later shifting her focus to lighting design. Michelle holds a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design. She enjoys helping the team create thoughtfully crafted environments that inspire, uplift, and enhance the well-being of those who experience them.
Michelle is an avid fan of the light space art movement and draws inspiration from visiting immersive light art exhibits.
Taylor Waddell
Accounting Coordinator
As Accounting Coordinator based in the Chicago office, Taylor is integral to the accounting and administration department. Taylor is a liaison with clients and vendors and manages our accounts with a keen eye for identifying and resolving discrepancies. She has a drive for problem-solving and excels at time management and organization.
Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys being a part of a dance team and going to concerts.
Max Bowyer
Theatre Specialist
Max joins the Melbourne office, bringing with him a varied skillset in physical and virtual design. A passion for storytelling and innovative technologies drew Max into the world of live performance where he worked as a technician, scenic designer, and lighting designer. He continues to develop new methods of digital visualisation to support communication and a deeper understanding of design concepts.
In his spare time, Max has been revisiting his love of football (soccer) after too many years away from the game.
