WTTW Channel 11 interviewed Robert Shook about Schuler Shook’s theatre planning role in the PBS station’s coverage of the new theatre building for DePaul University’s nationally-recognized theatre school.
The building was designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli with local architects Cannon Design, Schuler Shook’s theatre planners, and acousticians Kirkegaard Associates. Schuler Shook’s theatre planning team was led by Robert Shook, ASTC, with Joshua Grossman, ASTC, working as Project Manager and Josh Corn as the Theatre Specialist.
The new 165,000 square foot theatre building includes two theatres, multiple rehearsal spaces, and specifically designed spaces for costumes, makeup, props, lighting laboratories, new media workshops and classrooms.
