Why Chicago?

Located on the shore of Lake Michigan, The Windy City is known for its architecture, its culture, and — of course — its hot dogs.

Many say that summertime is the best time of year to be in Chicago, with sandy beaches, street festivals every weekend, free movies in the park, and more. Exploring the city’s neighbourhoods, museums, and cultural attractions is convenient with one of the largest and safest public transit systems in the nation.

Located in the River North neighbourhood, our office is right around the corner from Mr. Beef (for fans of The Bear), within walking distance of the Riverwalk (for fans of water), and surrounded by some of the best architecture in the world (for fans of… architecture).

Schuler Shook’s culture is professional, collaborative, and creative. We enjoy our work, but we also enjoy working with each other. We foster an environment of inclusion, design excellence, and camaraderie. Whether on site visits, outings at Millennium Park, or grabbing lunch at the nearby taco truck, we support one another and our designs are the better for it.
