The Moxy brand hotel was introduced in Europe in 2013 and launched in the United States in 2015. As the third US location, this hotel is located in one of Chicago’s trendy bar, restaurant and gallery areas near the Michigan Avenue Magnificent Mile and The Loop in the River North neighbourhood.
The exterior façade features luminous highlights and a 6‑story illuminated art feature. The interior has an edgy, yet warm and approachable design aesthetic. The lighting design contributes to the ambiance with softly glowing decorative fixtures, luminous surfaces and architectural highlights that accentuate appealing contrast.
