The symphony’s largest structural undertaking since the 1960’s, the project provided much needed improvements to seating, acoustics, accessibility, and support spaces, as well as room for the organization’s growing education programming.
Increased accessibility was of great importance to the client, with the request of accessible seating options far surpassing legal codes. A cross aisle was added, with accessible seating locations now available on each level. The seating was custom-made for the hall, and rows were widened to provide greater comfort for patrons.
