The Center for Victims of Torture

St. Paul, MN

The expanded headquarters for Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) is located in an historic building with modern amenities. The non-profit also operates offices in Washington D. C., Africa and the Middle East to help torture survivors heal and rebuild their lives.

Schuler Shook collaborated with Perkins + Will and other partners on this pro bono effort to create a better facility for the CVT staff and the people they serve.

Lighting was used to provide efficient work areas, comfortable collaborative spaces,
and independent work nodes. A few lighting elements throughout the space helped to
provide visual interest and appeal.
