There is a fantastic line-up of programming for the Black History Month Spectacular at 825 Arts:
2/21, 4 – 7pm: Black To The Future: Kid’s Black History Exploration is centreed around Black excellence, including inventors, scientists, artists and more. The event will feature opportunities for kids to test their inventive skills, see a fashion show, and take part in a game show where participants can win prizes.
2/22, 11 – 3pm: Black History Month: Breaking Generational Curses: Featuring a brunch and a panel of special guests, this event will explore generational curses, incarceration, and making your dreams come true, with time for Q&A. Tickets to the brunch and panel are sold separately for convenience.
2/23, 2 – 5pm: How Are You Feeling Mentally? Black Men’s Panel: This RONDO Barbershop themed conversation provides a safe space for Back boys and men to have an open dialogue about mental health and personal experiences. Following the discussion, stay for a haircutting contest featuring three local barbershops!
