Schuler Shook is proud to announce a promotion and introduce four new members of our team. 

Spanning the various offices and disciplines of Schuler Shook, these team members each contribute their own unique experiences, perspectives, and skillsets to their respective roles.

Kelly Murphey

Theatre Consultant

Moving from a Specialist role, Kelly brings his skills into a new position as a Theatre Consultant. Having spent several years in the education sector, he helps clients understand user needs, the various uses of arts facilities, and the process of theatrical production. Kelly’s creative solutions for unique renovation projects are appreciated by clients and his team members. When not in the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

Kelly’s notable projects include Texas A&M Corpus Christi New Arts and Media Building in Corpus Christi, TX; Annunciation Orthodox School — School of Hearts and Minds in Houston, TX; and Arena Players in Baltimore, MD.

Jenn Bollenbacher

Director of Marketing and Business Development

Jenn has 14 years of experience in marketing, business development, and team leadership within the A/E/C industry. She enjoys crafting stories that engage clients and highlight the impactful work of her colleagues. Jenn is passionate about applying her skills in strategy, storytelling, and relationship-building to fuel growth and promote teamwork. Outside of work, Jenn enjoys playing and teaching American Mahjong, solving the New York Times crossword puzzle daily, and spending time with her husband and 15-year-old cat, Lola.

Meghan Gaffney

Meghan Gaffney

Administrative Assistant

Megan is a graduate of Luther College, majoring in Art History with minors in English and Theatre. Her past experience includes a wide range of unique roles, including at a Montana guest ranch, Boston bakery, and Minneapolis bookstore. She is currently working as a stage manager and running crew for several local theater companies. We are excited to have the benefit of Meghan’s theatre experience and organizational skills in this new role for our Minneapolis office.

Nicholas Tranby

Audio Video Specialist

For the last 20 years, Nicholas has worked as a theatrical audio engineer throughout Minneapolis and across the country, serving as Audio Supervisor at Minneapolis’ Theater Latte Da for the last 10 years. He is happy to be working closely with several colleagues from the theater community who are now at Schuler Shook. Nicholas lives in Saint Paul and is excited to learn to apply his experience to a new industry.

Lucas Wihlborg

Project Lighting Designer

Prior to joining our New York office as a Project Lighting Designer, Lucas spent over 12 years at a previous firm, starting as an intern and advancing to Senior Lighting Designer. His professional interests include environmental sustainability, exploring how lighting impacts health and wellness, and staying at the forefront of the latest technologies. When he’s not working on lighting projects, you’ll find him hiking trails in the summer or cross-country skiing during the winter months.
