Christopher Sprague ASTC
Principal
Chris joined Schuler Shook in 2006 after working in theatre and opera for ten years as a master electrician, associate technical director, safety manager, and associate lighting designer, gaining knowledge of the technical systems within performance facilities. He is one who can see the big picture as well as the many steps required to achieve the desired end result. His detailed approach to design and calm leadership style are qualities popular with his clients and design teams.
Chris continues to design for theatre, dance, and opera, and gives back through mentoring at the high school and university levels including mentoring college theatre design teams in the annual USITT-ASTC Renovation Challenge.
