In the first phase of the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center’s renovation, Schuler Shook provided theatre consulting and architectural lighting design services for the 300-seat concert hall.

The hall’s interior was completely re-imagined within the current envelope. The stage platform was extended, allowing for larger ensembles, while rolling acoustical towers within the back wall roll forward for smaller ensembles or soloists.

Schuler Shook provided energy efficient, easy to maintain architectural lighting design solutions for the concert hall, classrooms, music studios, an art gallery, and meeting spaces. The lighting design creates an identity for building entrances and provides an inviting and compelling environment in the commons area for students to congregate.
