NEW TEAM MEMBERS
Caitlin Coffin
Theatre Specialist
Caitlin joined the Dallas office after working as a lighting designer and stage electrician and, most recently, as a designer for a construction company. She is a drafter with an eye for detail who speaks the language of technical theatre. Combining her theatrical skills and construction knowledge, she is excited to be part of a community that helps plan venues to better serve artists and storytellers.
On weekends, Caitlin loves taking her dog, Opie, to the dog park or exploring new hiking trails around Dallas.
Matt Valerio
Lighting Specialist
Matt joined the Chicago office with a background in event and production lighting. He is a good listener and problem solver who uses a range of software applications to help our team express the best lighting aesthetic for each project. He supports stepping out of the comfort zone to find creative solutions in lighting design.
Matt enjoys traveling the US officiating the top levels of junior hockey. During the summer, you’ll find him outdoors on the links or at a live music concert.
Sadie Ward
Lighting / Theatre / Audio Video Specialist
Sadie joined the Minneapolis office where her multitude of skills have found a home. She is an experienced scenic and props designer, a Human Resources expert from her time at the Ordway and Guthrie theatres, and a Revit specialist who honed her skills at a Minneapolis architectural firm. She co-founded Next Stage and the Minneapolis Green Theatre Alliance and believes that art can be created through sustainable practice to have minimal impact on the environment.
Ben Schultz
Theatre Specialist
Joining the Dallas office, Ben is an arts advocate who has discovered a joy in laying out rigging systems and in actively researching all things “theatre”. A decade of technical theatre experience informs his work. He wants to meaningfully shape the arts and theatre landscape to bring communities together and is active in the larger world of performing arts.
Ben loves a good movie, cooking, photography, and hiking, but always returns home to his pet snake, Sir Hiss.
