The centrepiece of the new entry lobby is a large circular opening to an eight-story daylit atrium. For the interior face of this opening, we designed a glowing feature of rear-lit tensile fabric, and this also serves to illuminate the suspended sculpture and provide ambient illumination below.

Schuler Shook worked closely with project owner, Sterling Bay, to complete a full upgrade of the main entry lobby of this large office building situated in the former Montgomery Ward Catalog House. Tenants of this 1.25 million SF loft building are mostly tech and media companies.
Lighting is also used to accentuate the feature wall behind the security desk and the main floor elevator lobby. Also included in the lobby is Farehouse Market food hall where our lighting enhances the feeling of openness throughout the three-restaurant hall and coffee and cocktail bar.
