In Tower E, Schuler Schook provided lighting design for the entry and elevator lobbies, corridors with banquets along the outer walls, and conference rooms. A 136’x7’ custom light fixture is displayed centrally in the entry lobby, giving movement and life to the space.
State Farm Insurance Headquarters
Bloomington, IL
In need of major upgrades, State Farm began a multi-phase renovation process involving several projects on its campus. Schuler Shook provided lighting design for State Farm’s Tower E and for a vast, four-story atrium.
With two monumental chandeliers, skylights, and distinct work/gather areas, illumination was an integral part of the design vision for the four-story atrium. Taking into consideration the various needs of the space, Schuler Shook’s design includes a tuneable system, allowing the light to adjust continuously depending on the levels of daylight and time of day.
