Paul’s diverse experience includes architectural lighting, theatre consulting, and theatrical lighting design for theatre, opera, and dance. Paul continues to work as a theatrical lighting and scenic designer; his work includes recent productions at The Guthrie, The Alley Theatre, Hartford Stage, La Jolla Playhouse, Primary Stages, The Atlantic, and MN Opera. Paul has also taught Theatrical Design at Amherst College and the California State Polytechnic Institute, Pomona. With his diverse body of work across many project types, theatrical production experience, involvement with LEED projects, and attention to detail, Paul crafts dramatic, inventive, functional, and sustainable spaces.
